GET OUT THE  VOTE!
For people who think they are not involved in politics, please think again! From the moment you pour your cereal in the morning, you are involved in politics. How did that cereal get to your table? It was transported on roads built by the government, with our tax dollars. How do you know your cereal is safe to eat? Because our government's duty is to make sure our food is safe. And so on. Whether at the national or local level, government can help or hinder, depending on whom you vote for and whether the policies and practices they promote work well or not.

 

These days it is especially important to practice democracy and vote at the local level.
